Translation

[Good fortun]e. Nopmophylakes Lamachos, (son of) Damatrios, Apollonios, (son of) Zethos, and the head of administration Athanaios, (son of) Stratonikos proposed: since Xenon, (son of) Timotheos [---] made his sojourn proper and [orderly], continuously speaking and doing things beneficial [to the People], and promises also [in the future] to render himself unhesitating with respect to the best interests of the polis, therefore, so that indeed [the People of Chersonesos] may be seen to allot to those who are g[ood] to it and [seek hon]ours their fitting gratitude, the Council and [the People] shall deem it good [to praise] Xenon, [(son of) Timotheos] on the basis of these and grant him [proxeny, citizen]ship, right of sailing in [and out of the harbour, to him] and] his descendants, in war [time and in peace time ---].
