Apparatus criticus
3-4: ... ἱερ(εὺς) ...Latyshev
Translation
Fell asleep: a servant of God, Soltyk-rais (?), in holy sleep (?), son of Tsimoukti, from Kamara, on the 15th of September, in the year 6870, in the 15th indiction.
Commentary
Latyshev relied on the photograph and estampage made by Skubetov. Another, twin stele, according to Skubetov, was illegible.
1–2. On the formula, see Introduction IV.3.F.e.
2-4. In the absence of either a photo or a drawing, the restoration of lines 3 and 4 is hypothetical.
5. Latyshev suggested that the deceased was from the village Qamara (modern Oboronnoye) in Southeast Crimea.
6. Dating by indiction is known at Laki from another inscription: V 142
