Commentary

The inscription was published by Latyshev on the basis of a drawing and an estampage made by Skubetov. At present, the inscriptions can no longer be found at that cemetery (we owe this information to the kindness of S.V. Kharitonov).

1–3. On the formula, see Introduction IV.3.F.e.

3–4. The name is restored hypothetically (cf. Ikoumanisa V 136, also from this area).

4–5. On the confusion of grammatical cases, cf. V 136.

7.The drawing shows no letters after the omega at the end of the line.

The inscription consisted of about 6 lines of text.
