Translation

[- - - to grant - - - the right of sailing] in [and out of the harbour for him and his goods without a threat of c]onfisca[tion and without a formal treaty, in war time and in peace time; to in]scribe [this decision on a st[ele of white stone and set it up in the sanctuary] of Asklep[ios - - -]

Commentary

2-3: cf. III 4, lines 5–6.

5: at the end of line - top of a vertical.

The inscription preserves the ending of a proxeny decree with a list of traditional privileges, followed by a closing formula. The mention of an Asklepieion is also found in another lapidary inscription from Chersonesos: III 65.
