Translation
Nomophylakes Eukrates, (son of) Prytanes, Pleistonax, (son of) Dionysios, Apollonios, (son of) Parthenokles, and the head of administration Apollodorus, (son of) Herogeitos, proposed: since Menophilos, (son of) Menophilos, citizen of Sinope, is a good and generous man towards the People of Chersonesos, always giving of himself genuinely both for the public benefit and in private cases, rendering himself kindly and friendly towards those of the citizens who apply to him, always striving to be the cause of anything good, has completed a decent residence beneficial to the People, lacking nothing in respect to effort and generosity, and in the future also pro[mises] to be the [cause of anything good]. So that the People [may be seen to be wort]hy of men [who strive] for the better, the Council and the [People shall decide - - -].
