Translation

Of Eutychianos.

Commentary

The design of the panel (relief cross within inset field) is very close to V 295.

1-4. The name Eutychianos is attested in Christian epigraphy 24 times (according to PHI7 Database); there are also two known martyrs of this name (see Delehaye 1902, 1086). Of no less importance is the fact that this name also occurs in Bosporus (CIRB 1283, Tanais, 229 C.E.), and both persons named Eutychianos were followers of Theos Hypsistos.
