Split in half. Top left segment was cut off and reused in an Early Byzantine building.

Find context

South sector of Chersonesos. Reused, along with another statue base, as supports for swivelling double doors of the sourwestern city gates, in the Curtain Wall 9 of the fortification walls.

Random find in 1900 (НА НЗХТ, д. 9, л. 28, № 197а,б; д. 29, л. 6, № 197; cf. Kostsyushko-Valyuzhinich 1902, 33, № 4,5).
