Commentary
The only information on this inscription is found in the minutes of the meeting of the Odessa Society for History and Antiquities. The minutes state that V.N. Yurgevich received a letter from Samuil Trakhtman from Akkerman, notifying him about the discovery of the inscription. Yurgevich was probably also the person who transcribed the text. There was a plan to acquire the inscribed monument for the museum, but it apparently was never carried out.
