III 222. Chersonesos. Epitaph of Aristo, 2nd half of IV century B.C.Е.

Pedimental stele with three acroteria (the side ones are broken off). The back is summarily treated. The top and bottom (with a dowel) are preserved. Below the cornice - cut three-line inscription traced in red paint.

Southeast sector of Chersonesos, Tower XVII ("Zeno's Tower"), masonry.
Found in 1960. Excavations of S.F. Strzheletsky (НА НЗХТ, д. 30).

On the front, below the cornice.
Nu with a short right vertical, omicron slightly smaller than the rest of the letters, four-bar sigma with splayed bars, ypsilon with widely splayed diagonals; absence of decorative elements at the ends of letterstrokes.
