Additional description

Upper part of a stele bearing cornice with antefixes. On the front - two relief rosettes. Between the cornice and rosettes - a two-line inscription cut following ruled lines. Below the rosettes - knobbly stick painted in brown.

Lettering

Omicron smaller than other letters, nu with short right vertical, four-bar sigma with splayed bars, some letters have lightly curving strokes, slight flaring of the ends of letterstrokes. Letters are somewhat sloppily cut, without the use of ruled lines.

Commentary

Posamentir (2011, 38) attributes the stele to the "circle of Sannion's workshop." Other attestations of the name in Chersonesos, see LGPN IV.
