Commentary

Might be a sigma or mu, but it is not absolutely clear whether the mark was inscribed on the ostracon, or the ostracon was shaped from a inscribed wall of Archaic cup: the mark is not centered, and there is a fragment of a vertical stroke on the edge of the piece, so the graffito may have been longer on the original wall fragment used for this roundel.
