Commentary

Ἀθηνάη is inscribed along the rim, the first two letters parallel, and the rest perpendicular to the rim. This form of Athena's name is typical for Berezan and Olbia (IGDOlb 68, 69), where reduction of triphtongs is attested (IGDOlb, p. 186).
