Additional description
The panel visibly widens and thickens towards the bottom. The epigraphic field is surrounded by a low relief border. On the front the border is treated summarily, the epigraphic field is polished. Sides are treated summarily, with clear marks of stone-working tools; the back and underside are roughly picked. The top is broken off.

In secondary context: Trench A (square by the fortress side), lower part of the fill in the basement of a hellenistic house; the fill is dated by its material to II century B.C.

Found in excavations of Tyras in 1959.

Epigraphic field
Position
On the front. Within bordered area, polished. The top is broken off. Within the epigraphic field: six crowns arranged in three rows, two per row. The two top and two bottom ones are ivy crowns, the middle ones - laurel, bound with ribbons. The size of laurel crowns: 9,5 x 10,5cm, of ivy ones: 11,5 x 10cm. Above each crown, there is one line of text. H.37.5, W.26.0-28.0
Lettering
Neatly and deeply cut letters, adorned with light serifs. Pi with short right hasta; nu with short right hasta, slightly bent outwards; omicron smaller than other letters, kappa with short diagonals; omega reduced in size, in the shape of semicircular dome with horizontal bars at the bottom.
